I think it can be said that Brad had a great birthday. As his wife, I'd like to say it was because of my doing. However, it was not.
Brad's birthday celebration started Friday night. My mom, aunt, and grandparents were in town to do family history research so we all went to Distrito to celebrate Brad's birthday.
Saturday, was almost an all day party for Brad minus that he spent the morning in the cadaver lab studying for his anatomy final this week. A bunch of Brad's friends came over, played games, went with us to eat at Famous Dave's, and then surprised Brad with an ice cream cake. It was a lot of fun. Brad's friends also got him an expansion pack to Pandemic so now we can all play together. It's basically a nerdy game about epidemics. And for a bunch of dental school students who have been studying microbiology and the spread of disease it pretty exciting.
Sunday, Brad's actual birthday, was kind of low key. I made Brad his favorite meal of Boursin Chicken. After we had some friends from our ward over for cake and ice cream. Pretty chill, but we enjoyed just spending time with our friends.
On another note, this was Brad's first birthday were he has said that he is "getting old." I don't think that 27 is really that old. We'll see what he says when he hits 30.
