Going to Church

This week was Evelyn's first time going to church.  Having a little girl and being able to dress her up is just too much fun.  Evy did great at church.  It was stake conference so it was only two hours long, but she slept practically the entire time. Hopefully she does that good every week!

Evy's First Bath

Evelyn had a bath at the hospital, but her hair never got brushed so it looked crazy for a few days.  Once we got home, we gave her a good bath.  She hated most of it, but she loved getting her hair washed.  Once we had her cleaned up she looked so different.  Her hair looks its most red right after its been washed.   I've fallen completely in love with all of her soft, red hair and I hope it doesn't ever change.  We sure love our little redheaded girl.

First Haircut

I love love love Nathan's curls.  However, the back of his hair and around his ears was getting a little scraggly.  So, I got brave and gave Nathan his first hair cut.  Really it was just a little trim.

I think I did pretty good for giving my first haircut.  I did make the rookie mistake of cutting it too short (since hair dries and looks shorter,) so most of his curls are gone.  Good thing they will grow back!

And how did I get Nathan to sit completely still for a haircut?  I bribed him with Baby Signing Time.  He loves it!

First Giggles

Nathan was being so cute while I was getting him ready for bed tonight.  Happy and cooing.  And then he started laughing.  He's been so close to giving out a laugh for a while, but tonight he let loose for the first time.

Church Clothes

Nathan went to church for the first time a few weeks ago.  He even wore his special Sunday clothes from Grandma Packer.
