Grandma's Visit

Grandma came out for a visit and we had so much FUN!  We went to a cute bakery/shop, to the ferris wheel, bowling and to see the butterfly museum.  They had a tarantula there you could hold. Of my two kids, Evy is by far the more adventurous. We asked Evy if she wanted to hold the tarantula and she wanted nothing to do with it.  We asked Nate and he surprised us by saying yes.  He went right over, no fear, and help the tarantula. We all had a lot of fun in the butterfly greenhouse.  You could right up close to the butterflies. We really had the best time with Grandma.

Steamboat Springs

We love going to Steamboat with grandma and grandpa, but it was especially fun this time in the fall.  The colors were so pretty!  It even snowed on us.

We made spooky gingerbread houses.  Auntie Lou worked at a candy factory and brought her awesome candy designs to add to the houses.

We even made a spooky pumpkin!

Evy and Nate were little billy goats on the hike in the snow.  Evy didn't want to stop.  It was so beautiful with all the fresh snow on the trees. Evy and Nate also loved having a snowball fight with grandpa.

We can't wait to hang out with family again!

Uncle Byron Comes Home

We went out to Utah for Byron's homecoming. There was lots of family, cabin time, games, catching up, and good times.  I'm so glad we were able to be there!
