I have wanted to make an orange peel quilt for a long time, but all the hand appliqué made me a little hesitant to go for it. Once I knew I was having a little girl, I knew I wanted to give it a try. It was more work than my usual quilt projects, but it wasn't as bad as I was expecting and I actually enjoyed making it. And seeing it come together so beautiful definitely makes it worth it. The quilting was done by a family friend. She always does an amazing job, but she really outdid herself with all the detail on this quilt. I love it and I think Evelyn does to!
