3 Months

I've been looking forward to Nathan turning 3 months.  Not because I want him to grow up, but it's just another milestone.  I was so excited on Friday when I could finally call him 3 months old.  I dressed Nathan up and had Brad take his 3 month pictures.

I didn't realize until Saturday that the 6th was Thursday, not Friday.  I was a day late in celebrating.  Brad noticed my mistake, but was too nice to correct me.  Good job mom.  Good job.

Anyways, Nathan is still 3 months old.  So at 3 months:
  • He's learned to roll over from front to back.  But only to the right.  He tries to roll to the left, but he mostly just flops over and gets stuck.

  • Has finally figured out how to use a pacifier.
  • He is over the swaddlepod.  We find him in some great positions when he's asleep.

  • Loves it when daddy comes home from school.  He has extra big smiles for him.
  • He likes to play with his hands.  He's really cute when he's cross-eyed looking at them.

  • We don't bathe him in the kitchen sink anymore because he just splashes way too much. He just gets so excited.
  • He giggled for the first time about a weeks ago.  I was rocking him in the nursery as he was falling asleep.  He normally smiles a few times as he's falling asleep, but he started giggling too! It was the cutest thing.  I've been trying to get him to do it again, but he only giggles in very small bits.
