Brad gave me an Easter lily plant last year. But the poor thing hasn't been doing so great recently. I think I may have overwatered it (but the pot doesn't have a drainage hole either so it's not entirely my fault.) We also needed a real pot for the orchid Brad gave to me for Valentine's Day. So, we took a little trip to Home Depot. While there, we decided to get a basil plant and a strawberry plant. I'm excited to have fresh basil to cook with and the strawberry plant has lots of flowers on it so I'm hopping that I'll at least get a few strawberries. We'll see whether or not I've got a green thumb after all.

They look so good. I can't wait to be able to put some herb pots at my back step.......they would freeze in the sleet that is going on out there right now!!
